YES! We'll Have No Bananas
This article was interesting… something I had heard before, but kept letting it slip (Oi the unintentional puns) my mind for something I deemed more important.
The only critique I have is that it leaves unsaid (and thus, for many, un-thought) that we’ve screwed these Latin American countries in the past with our military might, tied them to a crop, doomed it to fail… and once it fails, will probably pull out quicker than a… well an assortment of similes which are all incredibly inappropriate come to mind… but, yeah, that quick and probably just as effective at preventing hard ( HA!) feelings.
